NEIL: Pray for Jason (a wok associate) who I haven't seen for at least 2 years and has come back into my life. Pray that he will get a hunger for the truth of God's Word.

Your promise preserves my life

Your promise preserves my life

The Bible gives us an honest reflection on life.
The Bible does not brush over suffering and hardship.
The Bible will not let us live as if that these things are not real.
But thankfully, God’s Word does not leave us in our hardships and heartbreaks.

The biggest lie in the Church is the thinking that “The closer I get to God, the easier life will be.”
God does not promise that. He does better than that. He gives us Himself – Jesus Christ.

God brings us comfort IN our sufferings.
God shines His light DURING our darkness.
God calms our sea in the MIDST of the storm.

God whispers his promises in the moments of confusion.
God speaks His promises in our need of assurance.
God shouts His promises in our most desperate hour.

Trust Him in your need – he will not/cannot let you down.

I’m praying for you.

My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.

Psalm 119:50 New International Version (NIV)
